    There is no traditional or modern way of doing this. It's the way that you are most comfortable with.
    You just have to make sure the target you choose prefers your style as well. If you are not being honest with the other person, you are not being honest with yourself and vice versa. Games lead to confusion and spring from insecurity. Communicate. Put in effort.
